Courtney Bru practices primarily in the areas of commercial and civil litigation and labor and employment law. Ms. Bru has experience in individual and class action litigation, and has represented clients in state and federal appeals. Ms. Bru represents employers on matters arising under state and federal laws, and works with employers to develop policies and practices designed to protect employers from employment-related claims. Ms. Bru has also advised and represented unionized employers in all aspects of labor-management relations, including arbitration of grievances. Ms. Bru is licensed to practice in state and federal courts in Oklahoma and Georgia. Prior to joining Doerner, Saunders, Daniel & Anderson, L.L.P., Ms. Bru worked as an associate with one of the nation's largest employment and labor law firms, and represented employers in various matters arising under both state and federal laws and regulations. During that time Ms. Bru served as an attorney for the 2006-2007 edition of The National Employer.
Ms. Bru received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Vanderbilt University Law School. She received a Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Auburn University.
