Elizabeth W. Carroll received her Juris Doctor with honors in 2005 from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from the
University of Oklahoma , with minors in Political Science and German.
While at the
College of Law , Ms. Carroll served as the Indexing Editor of the Oklahoma Law Review. She worked as a research assistant for Professor Steven Gensler on the forthcoming Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (West 3d ed., 2006). As a participant in the First Year Moot Court competition, Ms. Carroll was recognized as the third best oral advocate in the competition. Ms. Carroll received American Jurisprudence Awards in Legal Research and Writing and Torts III. She is also a member of the Order of the Coif.

Ms. Carroll's intellectual property practice includes the successful litigation of copyright and trademark disputes for individual, corporate and media clients, as well as the preparation and filing of copyright applications with the Copyright Office. In the employment area, Ms. Carroll has litigated and extensively briefed issues involving the FMLA, Workers' Compensation, wrongful termination, and wage claims. Ms. Carroll has represented various clients, including individuals and corporate trustees, in successful appeals in various trust and probate matters. Furthermore, Ms. Carroll has aided clients in the successful resolution of commercial disputes involving quiet title actions, breach of contract claims, and complex commercial transactions. Ms. Carroll is a member of the Tulsa County Bar Association and the Oklahoma Bar Association. Ms. Carroll is also a member of the Downtown Kiwanis Club of
Tulsa , the Council Oak/Johnson-Sontag American Inn of Court, and Southminster Presbyterian Church.
