David McCullough graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism in 1977 and subsequently received his Juris Doctor from the University of Oklahoma School of Law in 1984. He also attended Oxford University, Queens College, Oxford, England in the summer of 1982. For more than twenty years, his practice has concentrated in the areas of Media and First Amendment Law and Indian Law. Mr. McCullough is active in several community and professional organizations, currently serving as an Advisory Board member of the Native American Alliance Foundation. He is also a member of the board of directors (and founding member) of FOI Oklahoma, Inc. an organization that promotes citizen access to government information.

Mr. McCullough specializes in the areas of Media and First Amendment law  and Indian Law .
