Reduce. Reuse. Recycle.
Doerner, Saunders, Daniel & Anderson, L.L.P. has long recognized the inherent benefits of preserving our resources and reducing our impact on the environment. Because of our commitment to implementing environmentally friendly best practices, we have been recognized by the United States Environmental Protection Agency as a “Waste Wise Partner” and by the American Bar Association as a Law Office Climate Challenge Leader.
Some of the best practices that we have implemented include:
- Ensuring that at least 90% of the copier, printer, bond, letterhead, and envelopes that we purchase has at least 30% post-consumer recycled content.
- Recycling at least 90% of our discarded mixed office paper and 100% of our toner cartridges, aluminum cans, catalogs, magazines, newspapers, file folders, #1 & 2 plastic and cardboard.
- Adopting a policy of double-sided copying and printing for drafts and internal documents that cannot be distributed electronically.
- Observing “Energy Star” Guidelines to reduce overall energy consumption.
In addition to our own efforts, we look for vendors and suppliers who also have adopted environmentally friendly best practices.
