Employer Compliance
The Immigration Department provides employers with knowledgeable and reliable advice to ensure compliance with both Federal and State Immigration Laws. Increased enforcement and heightened scrutiny of Federal Immigration Law in combination with new Oklahoma Immigration Law (HB 1804) create the need for employers to evaluate employment practices to avoid costly errors. We counsel employers regarding hiring and termination practice to ensure compliance with both I-9 and anti-discrimination laws. Our practice is ready to advise and assist employers to ensure the proper response when Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) makes contact regarding an I-9 audit or appears at a worksite for an inspection.
