Employer Compliance

The Immigration Department provides employers with knowledgeable and reliable advice to ensure compliance with both Federal and State Immigration Laws. Increased enforcement and heightened scrutiny of Federal Immigration Law in combination with new Oklahoma Immigration Law (HB 1804) create the need for employers to evaluate current employment practices to avoid costly errors. We counsel employers regarding hiring and termination practice to ensure compliance with both I-9 and anti-discrimination laws. Our practice is ready to advise and assist employers to ensure the proper response when Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) makes contact regarding an I-9 audits or appears at a worksite for an inspection.

Immigrant and Non-Immigrant Visas

The Firm's Immigration Department represents businesses and individuals with regard hiring international talent under both immigrant and non-immigrant visas. This includes assisting businesses in transferring foreign executives, managers or employees with specialized knowledge to their U.S. sister company under L-1 visas; employing specialty or professional workers under H-1B, E-3 or TN visas; and hiring individuals with extraordinary talent under O-1 visas.

In addition to corporate representation, the Firm represents individuals in obtaining permanent residency through family based petitions and in applications for citizenship. Finally, we provide representation to individuals seeking relief from removal before the Immigration Court and the Board of Immigration Appeals. Given the complexities of deportation proceedings, our Immigration Department provides high quality legal representation to effectively guide clients through the process.
