The Firm has a long history of representing municipalities, municipal authorities, and other public trusts. In the course of our representation of these entities, we have provided legal advice on the issuance of bonds and other borrowing transactions. The issuer's counsel serves a distinct role in the transaction, examining the transaction and documentation solely from the perspective of the issuer.

This distinguishes the issuer's counsel from the bond counsel, who owes duties to others in the transaction as well. From this perspective, the Firm can assist municipalities and their public trusts in ensuring that their interests are protected.
