The Employer’s Legal Resource: Keeping Up With the DOL

The Department of Labor has updated its minimum wage poster. The revised version can be found here. If you are subject to the Fair Labor Standards Act (and you probably are), you are required to post this notice in a conspicuous place in all parts of your business so that employees may readily be able to read it. Likely vendors will soon be offering these for sale, but you will be in compliance if you simply download the one found on the DOL’s website.

For federal contractors and subcontractors, the VETS reporting period is now open — deadline for filing is September 30. For more information about whether, what, where, and how you file, the DOL has a webpage devoted to the topic.
