The Employer's Legal Resource: Need I-9 Help – You've Got It

04.01.17

Great News! The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has updated its "Handbook for Employers." You will recall they recently updated the Form I-9 (remember to check and be sure you are using the form showing an expiration date of 08/31/2019). Now it has revised the handbook as well. This handbook provides guidance for completing the Form I-9. It is comprehensive and addresses issues whether you complete the forms one at a time or whether you participate in E-Verify.

For those of you who feel you have memorized the old Handbook, USCIS was kind enough to also prepare a Table of Changes to give you a quick look (okay, it's 53 pages) at each and every change made.
