Two Articles Published by Robert Spoo


Robert Spoo, Of Counsel with DSDA and Chapman Distinguished Professor in Law at The University of Tulsa, has recently published two law journal articles: "Courtesy Paratexts, Informal Publishing Norms and the Copyright Vacuum in Nineteenth-Century America," Stanford Law Review, Vol. 69, No. 3 (2017): 641-710; and "The Uncoordinated Public Domain," Cardozo Arts & Entertainment Law Journal, Vol. 35, No. 1 (2016 [published 2017]): 107-151. He received a 2016 Guggenheim Fellowship and is completing a book entitled Modernism and the Law, to be published by Bloomsbury Publishing (London and New York). He has also recently been named co-editor of a book series entitled Law and Literature, for Oxford University Press.
