The practice of family law is continually developing in response to the altering attitudes and pressures of our increasingly complex society, and requires insightful counsel and guidance. The Family Law Department provides this assistance to our clients in the negotiation and drafting of marriage contracts, and through the full panoply of issues involving separation, divorce, maintenance and support, property arrangements or disputes (partnership dissolutions), and child custody and visitation problems, both interstate and intrastate. Our lawyers provide advice regarding the nature, meaning, and legal effect of family law legislation which is constantly changing. We regularly appear before various levels in the court system on behalf of our clients on all of these issues.
