Rural Water District Competition
The Firm represents municipalities and other water service providers in defense of claims by rural water associations based on 7 U.S.C. § 1926(b), which is a federal statute that provides anticompetitive protection to rural water associations with outstanding federal loans. In addition, because of the Firm's experience in this unique area of litigation, the Firm is well positioned to advise water service providers and developers on compliance issues related to expansion of water services into areas of new development.
