NewsOK.com: Oklahoma’s Oldest Law Firm Honors its Past, Embraces the Future

Founded in Indian Territory in 1896, the law practice which today is Doerner, Saunders, Daniel & Anderson, LLP, predates statehood by more than a decade. This makes Doerner, Saunders, Daniel & Anderson one of, if not the oldest law firm, in Oklahoma. With a legacy of this magnitude, the firm adheres to time-honored principles such as ethics and credibility. While evolving into a diverse, sophisticated and down-to-earth modern law practice, Doerner’s attorneys became leaders in areas such as environmental law, water law, labor & employment, commercial litigation, media law, and First Amendment law.

Since founder C.B. Stuart hired a young attorney named E.J. Doerner on the steps of the courthouse, much has changed. From the early days, the firm continued its steady growth up through the oil boom of the late 1970s and early 1980s, when the firm doubled in size.

Today, with more than 55 attorneys operating out of four offices, Doerner honors its history and embraces the future.
