For those of you who like to calendar and keep up, you may have noticed that the Form I-9s have an expiration date of August 31, 2012. You will see in the top right hand corner, it reads “OMB No. 1615-0047; Expires 08/31/12”. Do not fret.

According to the USCIS site, you should continue using this form. In fact, on the USCIS site, it lists the various forms and denotes which are valid. According to that site, any Form I-9 with a Revision Date of 08/07/09 is valid. (Look at the revision date printed on the bottom right corner of the form – NOT the expiration date printed at the top of the form).
