Kristen Brightmire will be speaking on Disability Accommodation at the Department of Human Services’ Conference on Civil Rights in partnership with the University of Oklahoma’s Center for Public Management. The Conference will be an opportunity for approximately 350 DHS directors, supervisors, and HR professionals to come and learn about equality laws and guidelines as well as inclusion and cultural sensitivity in workplace. Topics will include Disability Accommodation, Religion, Gender, Race, Age, and Retaliation. Participants will be enlightened on civil rights issues by spokespeople from a wide range of protected classes as they speak in both a lecture format as well as a panel discussion and Q&A session on issues affecting both DHS employees and clients today. This event is not open to the public.
