Kristen L. Brightmire and Rebecca D. Bullard of Doerner, Saunders, Daniel and Anderson, LLP recently represented the Jenks Aquarium Authority (JAA) in obtaining a favorable judgment in federal court.  Former television news anchor Teri Bowers Mamola previously worked for the JAA as its chief operating officer.  Ms. Mamola filed a lawsuit alleging, among other things, that the JAA had committed federal civil rights violations when she was terminated.  Supported by significant case law, the Court held that the rights of Ms. Mamola were not violated and entered judgment in favor of the JAA.
