The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration with the Department of Transportation (DOT) issued a three month waiver from certain pre-employment testing requirements. The waiver applies from June 5, 2020, through September 30, 2020. For more, click here.
The DOT has also extended guidance regarding Substance Abuse Professionals, Medical Review Officers, Screening Test Technicians, and Breath Alcohol Technicians as relates to COVID-19. To read more, click here.

Of course, the CDC guidance is just that – guidance. If any governmental authority were to issue a law, regulation, or ordinance applicable to your business, that would govern.
