Nathan Cross has extensive experience representing buyers and sellers of real estate. He has also helped developers and financial institutions in matters relating to the sale, acquisition, and development of real estate including representing property owners in connection with obtaining zoning and land use approvals.
Aside from his real estate practice, Nathan acts as outside General Counsel to one of Oklahoma’s oldest continuously operating charitable trusts, the Sand Springs Home and other clients in a variety of corporate mergers, acquisitions and restructurings. In recent years, Nathan has been the lead counsel for buyers, sellers and lenders on more than $800 million of real estate, transactions, developments and refinancing ventures.
- Represented numerous clients in zoning and land use cases in the Tulsa metro area and surrounding communities including attending more than one hundred public hearings and negotiations with municipalities
- Represented the Cherokee Nation in developing its first ever mixed-use development in Tahlequah (Cherokee Springs Plaza)
- Represented Zeledyne in connection with the $300 million sale of manufacturing facilities in two states
- Developed and obtained approval for the first ever Optional Development Plan in the City of Tulsa
- Represented various financial institutions on more than $100 million in real estate financing transactions
- Represented clients in connection with the development of more than 1500 apartment units in the Tulsa area
- Engaged as outside general counsel to the Sand Springs Home, an Oklahoma charitable trust
- Engaged as outside general counsel to Wallace Design Collective, a national engineering firm based in Tulsa
- Acted as outside counsel to the City of Owasso on various matters from 2018-2021 including attending public meetings and providing guidance in executive session
- Zoning and Board of Adjustment work has given me many hours of experience in the public meeting forum including participating in both public and board comments as well as executive sessions
