Meagon Eagon is a litigation attorney who focuses on complex litigation and insurance defense. She has experience defending companies across Oklahoma against premises liability disputes. In addition, she handled matters involving securities fraud, intervenor actions and broker/dealer disputes. Meagon's experience includes practicing in Oklahoma state courts, various federal courts (extending beyond Oklahoma), tribal courts and arbitration.

In her spare time, Meagon enjoys attending Oklahoma City’s minor league baseball games, traveling and game nights. She also enjoys spending time with friends and family.

  • Represented a Nationally Registered Investment Advisor firm regarding a broker/dealer dispute in AAA Arbitration.
  • Successfully prepared a Motion for Declaratory Judgment regarding competing operating agreements in a highly contentious broker/dealer dispute.
  • Successfully prepared an appeal that became published case precedent in which the Court of Civil Appeals found the lower court erred in dismissing a claim for breach of fiduciary duty and held that a patient may maintain tort actions against a physician for negligently disclosing patient information in a data breach class action.
  • Successfully obtained attorney fees for intervenor modification of a court-approved liquidation action settlement resulting in the preservation of claimants’ rights to pursue outside litigation.
  • Successfully prepared Motions for Summary Judgment for an Oklahoma Tribe in defense of multiple lawsuits in personal injury and premises liability disputes.
  • Successfully prepared a Motion for Default Judgment regarding a Plaintiff’s failure to comply with the Tort Claim Act, which was upheld on appeal.
